Good morning™, Mysta observers!

We haven’t seen Stellaluna and Retik for a lo-o-ong time. It seems like Mysta’s got the hots for Junior.

Someone else’s old feelings resurfacing. ✨

Just so it stays far away it is okay. Nice seeing Retik and Stellaluna once again. I do love those two names!

Relating to my early yesterday post of going visiting.

He ate good at lunch but was having discomfort in his bottom. Being in a wheelchair a lot can do that so our walk around outdoors was not as good as previous outings though we did sit under a tree with good shade for a long spell but further on the walk he was hurting more, which is sad as it was a good day to get out and I did want to make it last. Sun was warm to hot and the breeze when we started out was quite nice. I feel it got warmer as the day wore on and so starting to be uncomfortable. He appeared to perk up after they put him in bed. The supine position distributes your weight better.

They have a WalMart run they do periodically but only four positions in the van. They have to take turns in going out and there are other outings offered for them who are up to it. Most of them are in wheelchairs and the more able ones even have the powered chairs they zip around in. A nurse accompanies them. I don’t believe Ed has gone out on those, at least that I’m not aware of. His boy Ron, who is his main “handler” did not go that I know of as of my report after the visit I was informed that he was going to a wedding so at least one old time association (me) made it in.

Is junior going to be practicing polygamy ?  Seems he cares for both ladies.

I’m going to trust that Junior will be strong in his commitment to Sparkle.

A Sparkle – Mysta clash is in the offing. Wait till Sparkle get off the car and go inside the building and see Mysta too close for comfort to Junior. World War III !!!!!!

Good to see Retik and Stellaluna again. For Mysta to be “positively glowing” around Junior is not surprising. She continues to change into a virtual replication of his late wife. They are connected by their love for Honeymoon and commitment to her well-being. All Mysta knows is what she has experienced since leaving Dr. Sail’s operating theatre. Any implanted or surfacing memories have been left to the imagination of readers. To be clear, a strong, positive connection is not “having the hots” for Junior. There is nothing in the strip to suggest that Sparkle, Junior or Mysta are candidates for adultery. The mistletoe moment was a fun wink, especially for fans familiar with the original Moon Maid and Junior’s romance and marriage. Sparkle has wisely been made scarce in the strip since the birth of Trey. The only way Junior and Mysta experience romance is if Sparkle is out of the picture. I’d be stunned were Team Tracy to kill off such a long-standing character, but stranger things have happened.

We really don’t know too much about Retik and Stellaluna. We know they desperately want to go to the Moon but not why they have such interest and desire. We know nothing of their history or where Bribery, Ghote, or Sail hired them from. They have never played a large part in the story and the reason for their introduction into the strip seemed more important at the time than it ultimately turned out to be. They have seemed helpful and harmless but remember, when we first met them they were working for the bad guys.

Until we learn more, I am hoping that they have Mysta’s best interest at heart. For me, the jury is still out a bit on them.

Ohhh! Retik is implying something, isn’t he? Why would we suspect any hanky-panky between Mysta and Junior? Junior is very straight-laced and faithful to Sparkle (who wouldn’t be?). Just because Mysta is a pretty and attractive young woman, that does not mean she can’t be friends with a guy she’s known for a long time….

Is there such a thing as romantic/ominous background music?
