I guess it has to do with all those failed marriages. Shoe just doesn’t bother to care anymore.

He should have chalked it up to a new tail feather “hair-do”.

I usually respond with something like:

" You know I don’t like those anorexic model types. I love a woman of substance ! You look terrific in (or out ) of anything ! "

A guy I knew used to say – Love those heavy-duty dollies.

There is much to be learned here grasshopper.

There’s a good chance he meant Former GF.

Must be skinny jeans. They make everyone’s butt look bigger.

Wow. How is he even still alive?

I stuck my head in our village church kitchen and shouted, “Has anyone seen my wife?” The only man in the group of ladies replied, “We need a description.” When I replied, “She’s short and beautiful,” he stammered (a retired colonel, he is never at a loss for words) but then recovered with, “But that could fit anyone in here.”

Whenever a woman asks this, or a similar question (e.g. does this dress make me look fat?) always answer with flattery e.g. No it makes you look beautiful.

Say: Yes! But not nearly big enough!
