Usually, when I walk on the streets of my neighborhood, walkers/runners speak or smile or wave. In the gym, walkers use headphones and can’t seem to see a wave or hear a ‘hello.’ Some listen to their own music or an audio book, both of which seem to cancel interaction with others. In my opinion that’s a loss and makes gym walking less interesting.
I prefer old Sennheiser over the ear foam headphones, they don’t press on yours ears and head so much and unless you turn it up to 11 you can still hear what’s happening around you.

They must have heard about what the administration is proposing to do with the Endangered Species Act.

Wow, I always thought the lyrics were “Said lawyers guns and money can’t get me out of this”.

I would even think about running if Nature always sounded like that. I miss him.

Let Warren Zevon settle it….

But if I were on a beautiful trail like that, seeing wildlife and enjoying my surroundings,
I, too, would prefer listening to the ambient sounds.Ignatz Premium Member over 6 years ago
Well, it’s not like Warren Zevon is the only option. You can switch to classical music or something. But why would even do that on a nature trail?

Had never heard that song. Country rock I guess? Cute strip today, could not possibly lead to any type of controversy or difference of opinion…

Has this strip ever featured the lyrics of the song that reportedly made Frazz rich …?

I rode a bike on the street for years. I would never stick something in my ears that might keep me from hearing what’s coming up behind me!

I listen to audiobooks while doing aerobics at the gym, but when I’m doing anything outside, I never use them.
