yeah i know – it is a bit of stretch to be whining ’n complaining when you get to lie and down and have a view!

There you go stretching the facts again. You just hang around with nothing to do but complain. Someone could use a hobby.

Reminds me of an old (not GC) comic: two guys are chained up on a wall with metal balls hanging from their feet. “My balls are killing me.”

Don’t worry, guy on the rack; the guy hanging by his arms will die in a day or so when his intracostal muscles give out and he can’t breathe any more.

I have a fitbit, at 10 minutes to the hour, it reminds me to get my 250 steps. I take them to the break room where I look out the window and focus on something further away than my computer screen. It’s also nice to know whether it is day or night or whether it is raining or the sun is shining. My working conditions are much safer than a coal mine, but there are similarities.

Perspective is everything. This one is a two-way stretch

I’m sure the guy on the wall requested a workspace BY the window.

The guy on the wall shouldn’t complain either. He has a view of a great rack.

I wonder if they’ll turn him over, once in awhile, so that he can get an even tan ?

This gets my vote for one that really goes to The Far Side, the same wonderful twisted cartoon humor.
