Katy certainly takes after Adam.

Looks like she’s reached the “Gone into mourning for the ‘late’ Summer” phase.

Nick is alive!!   HE’S ALIIIIIVE!   Praise the Loooord!

And it’s not even Thanksgiving yet! At this rat he will have three trips out of the basement in one semester. Rejoice, boy!

Please – give her the shawl and lock her in a tower somewhere. The next 2 months are the best part of the year.

The kids doen’t call it “gloomy poet phase” any more. They call it emo. Ha ha.

If you’re a Canadian fan of outdoor sports, water-skiing in my case, the lamentations begin in August, when the sun sets at 8:00.

Alright, Katy. Enough is enough. Time to snap out of it. Maybe if someone reminds her that going into fall gets her closer to Christmas, she’ll get out of her funk.

But school is in session. That’s cause for much brooding, especially when it’s nice out!
