I was wondering about the meaning of the no “W” sign, and then I finally saw the name of the diner.

And that really supports the guy’s conclusion!

So it’s food that was sold and rejected three times. That’s very special.

Left over martinis? Why not?

There’s one trifecta I wouldn’t put money on. A few others haven’t worked out so well either.

That storefront sure changes businesses a lot.

They just add broth and call it “soupe de la semaine”.

Or local restaurants could work with their city governments, foodbanks, and homeless shelters to donate such leftovers.

Either that, or someone lost big at the track.

Around here they’re referred to as a “Tupperware Buffet.”

I read that is how Chop Suey was invented.

If it’s in the fridge, and not blue & fuzzy, then it’s … game on !

Austin, Texas restaurants by law now, cannot throw away leftover food. Have to give it to the homeless, food banks, and compost companies. What a great idea!

We used to have a Chinese restaurant around here that got caught by the Health Department re-using food. Notice I said, “used to.”

Spooky when you click like and the numbers go up by more than one. You realize someone else just ‘liked’ the same strip at the same time as you.
