I get a laugh out of the autumnal advertisements for “pumpkin spice” coffee and beer, etc. No actual pumpkin in the recipe, usually: they have cinnamon and/or nutmeg—the traditional spices added to a real pumpkin pie. It really is a joke.

500 ml of PUMKING Imperial Ale at 8.6% ABV will make you feel like those guys. The bartender served my draft in a wine glass.

Not as good as Apple Family Cider, but still good.
