I find this type of ambiguity a lot, yet it seems to bother no one else.

IMO….with all the threatening happenings in the world….especially among warlike countries… people have begun to let other people know that they are valued by their fellow man. Rather than waiting till it’s too late to let others know they matter in the world, people are telling them so now..when it can make a differenceto them.

The only thing ambiguous to me is why there are so many countries who really hate their fellow man….and women and little kiddies…that they think nothing of killing them all. Ambiguity is meant to make you think and reason things out yourself.

Among most of my friends, no apology would be needed. They know that “love” isn’t the same as “sex”.

(I have a coffee cup, a gift from a friend, with the inscription, “Love is friendship set to music.” Well, many of my friends are musicians.)

This is a bit confusing – maybe its just too early in the am. If Arlo was ending his conversation with Janis – how did Fred get involved. I could understand if it were texts.

@kfccanada I understood that he automatically said ‘love you’ when talking to a friend because he says it automatically to his wife. Nothing to do with being valued.

When my parents were much younger, the first one to see a car with one headlight would say “un-twiddle” and pat the other on the knee. Until my dad unconsciously did it to a (male) vestry member on the way to a meeting!

People say I love you so often it’s like saying have a good day,, really meaningless, because they don’t mean i

“Love you” = “I really want to hang up now”

Speaking of off-screen friends, where is Janis’ girlfriend Robin?

I don’t know how many times I’ve had to stop myself from saying “Love you” when ending a call with a coworker. L
