His fists giggle? I thought it was his knuckles.

Rip Haywire: scaring to bed the kids of all creeps and thugs. Oh, and rookies.

Poor lass. Her left breast was shrinking in the first panel, and disappeared entirely in the second panel, but the realization that he is, in actual fact, the Haywire, caused it to reappear (albeit a bit too large) in the third panel.

Rip has that effect sometimes.

Is it just me, or is this young lass one of the hottest lil’ mercenaries that’s been in this strip for a long while? Be still my ka-beating heart!

I’m pretty sure that if she jumps she can also jiggle, uh l mean, giggle….

Yet he let himself get tied up by a girl using one hand.

The fists are in on the joke.

If Dan needs a break (time off), or wants to give the substitute penciller a break (professional exposure), he’s entitled. If he thought the strip would benefit from this new look, I think he’s mistaken.

Rip Haywire: Legend of the Giggling Knuckles. That would make an interesting title for Mr. Thompson’s next graphic novel, yes?

I recall Dan promising something special to follow a brief set of reruns. Perhaps the increase of details is what he meant.

How is it that the Ripster always finds these hot looking babes with large bosoms? Hubba hubba! (and yes, I follow this strip for its witty repartee —TNT always has the best zingers!)

Hmm, catching up the last week or so. I think I liked the old look better. This looks too … serious.
