Ah – now I’m starting to understand other readers’ earlier comments about this particular story line and how it doesn’t end well.

With the continuing war around the world and the deployment of US forces all over the place, this is still relevant. Coming home to people we left behind is always a shock because by the time we get back they are not the same people we left. Neither are we.
