Marigold has impeccable ethics. We should all learn from her example. My avatar is Millie as a human.

Whatever that phrase is Marigold, I’m sure the comic censor from “Pearls Before Swine” would put the kibosh on it.

I am unable to say how much I loathe this strip, and I will never read it again.

I believe the opposite of “thank you” is “meh”.

That’s it! Teach children that lying is okay because UNICORNS do it! That’s the ticket!

So…basically we’re saying she’s lied before a court of law? I mean, yeah, it was for a very minor thing, but that’s still basically what it is, ain’t it?

You know, Marigold, I’ve heard doing that usually doesn’t end so well, especially if you’re caught in said lie.

    I guess it’s a good thing Applejack isn’t a unicorn.

I assume this is Opposite Day or something, but a “good” (i.e., well-done, leaving morality aside for now) lie is one that’s believed/believable. Since Marigold obviously is lovely and shimmering, her lie isn’t very good…

“Thank you” is short for “I thank you,” so the opposite would be “I do not thank you.”

I had to read that twice to get the joke. I mean, I did NOT have to read it twice.I can see why you’d need a spell. This is hard.
