btw army wasn’t the only one to take draftees, during vietnam when they were short of personel nave/ marinesat the draft station took what they needed. the time i remember was you counted off by fours 1 and 2 army 3 marines and 4 navy.

Just how old is Arlo supposed to be? He should be old enough to have been drafted, so why isn’t he talking about his Army days?

While my own service has been purely civil, I’m an Army son, an Air Force uncle, a Navy cousin, and my favorite ex-boss is a Marine.

Capital N for Navy, Capital A for Army, etc. Was sorry to see the Nav lost. Oh well….

It was a job of a lifetime-20 years!
