Uh, how about “resolving” not to waste time making resolutions?

Creativity does not guarantee success.

Random mutation guarantees creativity but nature removes most as failures. And when you look at us cumulative relative successes, you can see nature is very forgiving.

Now that’s crushing a New Year’s resolution
