I’ve found that vague intentions are much more practical than resolutions.

And by about the middle of the month all the gyms in the US will be empty after people break their resolutions to diet and exercise.

That time line is still very generous. It assumes some resolutions will last a full day.

The only New Year’s resolution I’ve ever kept was the one to give up making New Year’s resolutions.

The news had a bit where they showed a place in New York with people all lined up to buy salads. Employee said that in a month it’d be back to normal. Not to mention that some of the salads aren’t any better for you.

I gave up making New Year’s resolutions a long time ago. Too much of a hassle. There are plenty of other days in the year where you can make decisions.
