Calvin must’ve packed that snow pretty tightly if he thinks he can ride it without knocking it down.
Hobbes would rather be a smart sissy than a reckless fool.
Hobbes is no crash dummy.
As we would say nowadays “‘hold my beer’…or in Calvin’s case….‘hold my soda’.” ;D
Build a crash test dummy, that should help out.
behinds me of some Hot Wheels track
That loop-the-loop needs to have a much bigger radius, or Calvin doesn’t stand a chance of making it work. But we’ll all be glad to watch while he tries.
I think he’ll hit one of the legs and only the sled will come out the other side.
Did you hose it down with water. It will give you more speed and maybe break a few bones, but whose counting.
I’m with Hobbes on this one.
GO, CALVIN!!!
What could possibly go wrong here? (no answers required)
You should have grabbed a video camera, Hobbes!
The kid’s a natural to go airborne, and he doesn’t even have to wait until he’s old enough to enlist.
Calvin’s world is soon going to be turned upside-down!
But Hobbes, I need your weight to balance out the sled.
He should have tried a simple jump first to test his snow construction skills.
Calvin’s a pretty good snow sculptor considering how short he is.
This one was always one of my favorites
This looks more like something Escher would’ve created. Calvin could end up in the fourth dimension.
The guy with stripes is being the spotter.
Would Hobbes have to do it if Calvin double-dog-dared him?
Later in life, Calvin will coin the phrase, “Hold my beer.”
No smarter.
The guy in the stripes is one smart cookie!
He would late go on to design rides for Action Park in NJ.
Calvin’s too young to say “Hold my beer and watch this!”
And “Sonic the Hedgehog” wasn’t even a thing yet.
Like my late father used to always say..“If a boy lives to be 12 he’s probably gonna make it.” Lord knows I almost didn’t!!!
Seems like they would have been in more danger while building it.
Calvin knows the physics of centrifugal force balancing the weight. Hats off to him. I hope he builds adequate speed.
How… If I could build something that big before the snow melted, I would build…. Um.
