Sign turners in Florida earn the state minimum wage of $8.46, but counter sales earn in the auto after market venue about a dollar more than the state minimum wage. Promotion?
Ah yes, worked the 2000 census for about 1 year. Spent a Sat at the local WalMart trying to get shoppers to sign up to help. Northern MI, temp in the 20s, 30 mph wind. In 2 hours not a single person stopped at our table, other guy and I agreed that day wasn’t going to work, folded up and went home to warm up. MI got really cold in winter,(I moved to South Texas to escape winter in 2003) especially wind blowing across a massive parking area with no hills or trees to block it

When I worked for Boston Market, I had to do what Baldo’s shown doing here, but not when it was so cold.

Like others have mentioned, I too feel this is more of a demotion than a promotion.

The reward for work well done is seldom equal to the effort.
