So, it was an usher uniform that was stolen.

Good morning™, fishing lures !

And so it begins….. He would actually be handsome if it weren’t for the oversize bulbous beak.

Now the play begins. The one out of the lime light and into the shadows.

He cleaned up well I must admit.

Now, where have I seen this before? A play, and a policeman guarding an important person. Then the policeman suddenly leaves, and a shadowy figure appears right behind the important person…Why does “Our American Cousin” come to mind?

What year is this? She’d get it on her cell phone, lol

Zelda looks lovely, like always! What is in store for her now?

Don’t do it. Zelda!

The Cop’s a bonehead. He could look around if he wanted but should never have let her out of his sight line.

Now suspense.

My point exactly; someone should be by her side at ALL times while other officers can do the canvassing for trouble.

RUN!!!

Anything Splitface has in mind for her would be better than having to sit through this travesty of a musical!

It’s coming on a teletype

Looks like Clybourne is ushering in a new look.

Yes, indeed, Clybourne does “clean up nice”; or maybe “clothes make the man.” But he’s no “man”; he’s Splitface’s boy, his flunky, now his accomplice in whatever the Lurker in the Rafters (I’d say Flies, but in panel 1 he does not seem to be anywhere near the stage) has in mind for Zelda, whether it is a simple, quick murder by bullet or blade, or something more elaborate. I’ll guess the latter, simply in order to leave time for Tracy and Sam to get involved before Zelda is taking her dirt nap….
