For those that are into that sort of thing, most people role-play a nurse or a cheerleader. It looks like Adam has something of a more dominating nature in mind.
I know a couple of people who have the best of both worlds. They can work from home almost whenever they want to, but they still have an office at the company building if they want to work from there.
After my dad died just after he did not renew the lease on our office as he was going to find a different office, I ended up bringing the office home. I worked from my home office and went out to clients a few days a month. I was on my own all day long. I could go out and work at night (or during tax season work days and nights). It was great. I could go out every month and pick up our various craft art exhibitions and set up the new ones (we could have up to 4 exhibitions a month between us in 2 rotating art exhibitions programs). I could go out on Fridays and “the office” (me) would have lunch out “together” and then do what I wanted alone. Perfection.
Then husband got burned out at work and after running the numbers every which way and several discussions about if he quit his job I would do what I had been doing and he could do what he wants (work at his crafts so we could sell more to make up some of the lost of the income). He agreed. We are now together all day every day. I go out to one client one day a month. I joined an embroidery group (a love of mine) and go to the meeting once a month. Otherwise I am with him.

If he’s lucky, then maybe his “boss” will commit sexual harassment upon him after his shift (never thought I’d hear myself say that).

Sometimes, meeting deadlines is a pain! Especially in repetitive jobs that we take on as stable income!
I still have nightmares of a job where I had to edit 10 years’ worth of SAP migration documents for a bank!

I have the opposite problem
I run the dairy department at work, so I’m dealing with people all day
With my step-daughter and her kids living here, the house is full of people to

You know, he is right. After a while working from home is like being is work solitary confinement. Like having you desk moved to the basement closet.

I loved working from home without a boss coming in every 20 minutes to stop what you’re working on to work on something else.

The bosses I’ve known have sat in their offices all day and only come out for meetings and coffee.

If someone who is self employed is talking to himself, he is having a staff meeting

You probably have better coffee than you’d find in an office, Adam.

Working from home alone is sooooo much better.
