At this point I would expect Calvin to mess with it before the glue finishes drying.

Just wait until Dad has to fix it again.

I love how they like to tease the dad, I guess he doesn’t usually do much fix-it work around the house (other than his bicycle).

That is the same thing that Tim Taylor of Home Improvement hears in his house a lot.

That’s because he’s dad, dad to the bone!

LOL! I knew this was the next strip.

Dads don’t get any respect in that household.

Don’t know that ridiculing success is quite the proper reaction.

Are we sure Dad didn’t superglue his fingers to the battery case?

The first time my toddler (now 26) broke a toy, he showed it to his mom, heartbroken. “I think it just needs a screw in it. Daddy can fix it when he gets home.” When I got hope, Caleb showed it to me and told me “Mommy says it needs a screw in it.” That’s what it needed, and he watched intently as I used a little screw to hold the wheel on. From then on, Daddy fixed EVERYTHING by putting a screw in it, including, oddly, his nose.

He’s also fixed it so that he doesn’t father any more kids.

Dad the hero. Calvin give that glue time.

I fixed something once.

Never knew Dad was such a handyman. And apparently, it surprised Mom.

I’m so glad he fixed it! Poor little kid. He should’ve let his daddy put it together to begin with.

My Dad could fix anything (usually). Until Learned to fix things myself, “Daddy fix” was my favorite expression, thanks Dad.

Um….shouldn’t he have put it in the hat before he glued it?

Probably the propeller will turn the wrong way and drive Calvin into the ground.

Remember, Calvin’s Mom LOVES to tease Dad and give him a hard time!

Don’t speak too soon Calvin. You need to wait and see if he glued the motor shaft to the housing first.

And I thought Dad would be more worried now that Mom knew he could fix something he would have a honey to do list.

For once, Dad comes through for him.
