Hm, reminds me of the non-Euclidean geometry of Yian-Ho and R’ley in its strange dimensionality. The ability to store, shift and put into each other whole dimensions. Think M.C.Escher + larger on the inside only carried to the Nth degree in engineering. Stranger and stranger is that ebony Houyhnhnm’s life. Goody! All that’s missing are tentacles coming out that door, large, green ones. Step carefully, Horace! It may be your last in your present dimension. Thu Thu Hmong could aid you, better than a Brown Jenkin, though they resemble Cthulhu, but aren’t so cosmically monstrous.

I’m beginning to wonder if that elevator is actually a marooned, misplaced, or in-need-of-servicing (like Dr. Who’s) TARDIS… If so, it would be interesting if Horace “took it” and found himself in our world.

The number of possible elevator gags may not be infinite, but it is clearly much larger than I suspected when I started to follow this strip.
