“… all creation is waiting patiently and hopefully for that future day when God will resurrect his children … even the things of nature, like animals and plants, suffer in sickness and death as they await this great event.” Romans 8:19-22 This is from the Living Bible paraphrased translation, and does not match the King James or NIV translations.
Dogs want to chase cats so dogs need cats to be there, cat’s don’t want to be chased so no dogs, so maybe bad cats go to dog heaven, and good cats and dogs have separate heavens.
If there are separate heavens and owners want to be with their pets then they will need to be in separate places too.
So there must be an infinite variety of heavens or just one.
If there is just one then, the desires and wishes of the inhabitants must be so different from their normal states that they are not recognizably the same individual.
Or everyone is in conflict and it seems just like this place….

I had never thought that, but those are very wise words.
I would also say: Amen to that.

For most, Heaven is what they make of it.
(Won’t make it anyway so it doesn’t much matter.)

Doesn’t sound like much of a place to go if there aren’t any dogs.

A theological conundrum. If pets go to heaven…

If pets don’t make it into Heaven, the rest of us don’t have a snowball’s chance in you-know-where.
