What a lovely waste of a daily strip by the way, this whole thing could have been done in one panel, allowing up to two more for Tracy and Joe mobilizing the crew

At the table they both stare, as they are seated in their chairs, what does Tar have on his mind?, we will all be sure to find!

Barnabas’s jacket looks gigantic and out of place in contrast to sleeveless Bonnie. She must’ve either checked her coat or left it at home (which seems unlikely on this rainy night). Since Barnabas took neither option, I wonder if he has The Professor’s toolkit on his person.

That metaphorical rain is coming down in torrents. The danger intensifies.

Either Bar can look very smitten on cue, or he is smitten with his dinner guest (upon whom it seems not one of rain has fallen). Is he really The Professor? Big mood swings?

And who is the guy at the edge of panel 3 about to enter our space through the fourth wall? Is he anyone known to Mike or Joe, or just a realistic Nobody?
