I’d suggest something like Hong Kong Phooey/Danae, stunt doubles do all the action stuff, Danae does the janitor work ;) – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hong_Kong_Phooey
CGI and stunt doubles? Pfft, kids these days! At her age all I needed to become a superhero was paper & crayons for a mask and a towel for my cape. Carefully arranged couch cushions and blankets became the Batcave or Science Patrol HQ while LEGO blocks were crafted into gadgets. Ah, the sweet Saturday mornings of my youth…
You might want to rethink that bit about CGI, Danae. Some of the finest acting I’ve seen in the last 20 years was by Andy Serkis, but it was mainly motion-capture work, which the snobs at AMPAS refused to recognize as Oscar-eligible.
Someday, maybe even pretty soon, actors will be redundant to need except in community theaters and the occasional show where they decide to do it the traditional way (nobody will actually like it done that way but people will claim they like it in order to seem sophisticated).

Marvel or DC Comics would say no to that.

I can’t see Danae as a super hero. A super villian, maybe, but not a hero.

Shouldn’t her Superhero Costume have the Skull on it?

Let’s see, get power from some accident, never have to work out, and violently correct that which offends you… yep, that’s Danae.

Given Danae’s personality, I’m not sure “hero” is her natural role.

If her superpower were switching genders at will then she could be Danae Boy.

Those robots in panel 3 look very Gahan Wilson-ish. If that’s intended as an homage, nice work, Mr. Miller. —in fact, nice work even if it isn’t.

Personally, I’m hoping for a nice long summer arc of “Non Sequitur” Sunday episodes to rival the Duke and Nebbish masterpiece………

“Superheroes”…. too busy arguing with each other and causing collateral damage to really defeat the baddies.

Has Danae ever worn a “If you think I’m bad now, wait ’til I get PMS” T-shirt"

She’s very Stupendous Man-esque. Stupendous Woman perhaps? (cheeky grin)

I am thinking, with enough CGI Lucy could be a super hero.
