Sheesh the dentist is bad enough without them getting your tongue too! Poor Monty :-(

The one at my dentist is set for too much suck also. You lose thoughts and ideas in that thing.

The dentist looks like he could be Monty’s brother, or at the very least, an extended relative… :-P

Some great cartooning in this strip, inspiring a sense of urgency and the feeling of motion in a static strip is tough. Mr. Meddick is so awesome.

I had a friend who had his uvula slurped by one of those. It got all stretched and he had to have it removed.

I’ve heard that the human tongue has some remarkable recuperative powers and heals quickly from burns and similar traumas without leaving scar tissue. Not up to the point of overcoming amputation, tho.

OMG, that was hilarious!!! Poor Monty…my husband’s name is Monte (sp).

My dentist has the Professional skill to always find the Nerve that will blow off the toenail off my little toe on mt left foot – It is a skill I guess…… Otherwise he’s great…..

With a smile on his face Monty realized that his tongue was now a foot long and his dating prospects had greatly improved…
