1982 makes it an oldie? Yeah, I guess it does, even if my idea of oldie is more like 1960. Yes, yes, I’m an oldie.

I was gonna’ say that’s not much of an ‘oldie’ because I have never heard those lyrics! Anything after 1975 is ‘new’!

The Safety Dance, 1983, by Men Without Hats. Never heard it before. I looked it up. Guess that’s an oldie for them. Cute.

I like the more recent oldies, like anything by Lady Gaga, Green Day, or early Justin Beiber. You know, anything that’s “so yesterday.”

I had a kid once tell me her mom listened to “oldies, like new kids on the block.”

I guess being Canadian, I recognized the lyrics on the first 4 words. And I was 10 when it was a hit.

I listened/listen to New Age. Most of the stuff I play no one else knows by artists they never heard of.

Fella said he never felt so old in his life.

Ah, these youngsters are just jealous of us – we had the BEST music!

My oldies are from the 1950’s, even though I was in my teens in the 60’s. The other older era I like is the 1980’s with its hair bands but those are still being played as current music.

I’m not going to touch that “oldies” thing. I do love to dance with my puppy. We do it all the time!

Okay, all oldies stuff aside, what the hell does this have to do with Fight for the Forgotten, which is about a martial arts fighter known as “The Big Pygmy” who is fighting for the rights of pygmies?

I love the oldies, in fact all we listen too. Have an awesome oldies stations. Plus I have a ton of oldies myself and we are still working on making CDs of all my 45s and plus the albums I had from years back and then of course, all the cassettes we have and the list goes on.

Dang, if that is an “oldie” I must be an “ancient”!
