could brighten a dull room or make a bright room seem cluttered. But Pollockās work can be considered at least colorful and upbeat compared to the works of Bosch, Munch, and other painters of humankindās ādarkā side.
Iām no artist, but as a college student, I took a black sheet and dribbled fluorescent paint on it in multiple colors. With a black light, it looked like a hallucinogic night sky. Iād never heard of Pollock at the time.
I wonder if the first person who came up with pour acrylic painting should be considered a great artist like Pollock.
Thereās a story about a plumber who was working at a museum. He placed a bunch of old pipes on a table. He came back the next day to clean up his mess. You guessed it, the Artsy folks found the pile of junk and put it on display.
