Wonder why? Hydrogen sulfide makes that smell. I wonder what they considered the source to be?

Well, 99% of humans believe in god. So… elves don’t sound too crazy after all… :D

Hmm, the might want to double check their math at RBON An Ostrich’s average lifespan is 30 – 40 years, they do not start laying eggs until they are between 3 and 4 years old, and only breed once a year, producing a clutch of about 20 eggs per breeding season so for approximately 36 years time 20 eggs I only get 720 IF all the eggs hatch.

note: In captivity a properly cared for ostrich can live up to 70 years but their ability to produce viable eggs still seems to end around age 40

No wonder, because in Iceland, the state is officially protecting places because they are thought to be inhabited by elves. Besides, there is the Icelandic Elf School, located in the capital.

I haven’t looked into it, but I suspect those 1,500 chicks include kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, great-great-grandkids, and so on.

you SAY elves, but that looks more like a gnome. I think we need some kind of Icelandic mythical creature encyclopedia so we have contextual definitions of what people are talking about, since I’m pretty sure “elf” can mean like 5 different things.
