At first I thought Janis meant she had spotted something for drilling into an asteroid. But I suppose she means Arlo seems to be planning a practice drill for their last night together, in case an asteroid were on trajectory to wipe out all life on earth? A gag line much too abstruse for my feeble mind to work out in the amount of time it ought to be spending here.

Not always bread, cheese and wine, sometimes salmon, crackers and vodka. We call it “naked movie night”

Even if any of the dinosaurs were intelligent enough to build spaceships we would never know it.

WE waste so much energy on wars and self destruction. Better to expend our energy and materials to deflect asteroids while they are furthest away and easiest to handle. Just a nudge of less than a degree could make it dozens of degrees away by the time it reaches our solar system. We could also be scanning 100% of the sky instead of just 1% as we do now. So many have been found after they have passed us.

What, are they gonna watch “Armageddon”?
