I remember a movie with David Niven as the husband and I think Mitzi Garner as the wife – the family was watching television and there was a bra commercial + Niven got so mad/irritated he put his foot through the TV screen.

Ahhhh yes, the parent who grumbles and moans because the rest of the family isn’t “having a good time” doing something they never wanted to do…

They only want to remember leaving. And they don’t need a picture for that.

Well Dad, if you had taken them to an amusement park there would be plenty of “Kodak Moments”!

Just think about the ton of money you’ve saved on development and printing costs, Dad!

Does anybody ever think they might not have money for fancy vacations? Calvin is high maintenance with all the things he wrecks.

I’m with Calvin & Mom on this. My idea of roughing it is when internet service goes down.

If Dad wants a photo to remember the trip, he should ask Mom to take HIS picture. Maybe with Calvin in the rowboat. Or holding a fish. But I agree with Mom. I don’t want my picture taken after 3 days of no shower, no hair washing, no makeup and full of bug bites!

An ax through the TV? Calvin will flip.

They will all look back one day and laugh. Time softens memories :))

I miss Kodak. But, then again, I also miss youth, virginity, naïveté, sanity …
