Calvin gets surly every school morning himself.

I’d be surly too if you were my kid.

Calvin is so surly, it’s spreads like a virus.

And Mom is next.

Well if you stopped calling him Shirley maybe he wouldn’t be.

Someday when you enter the workforce Calvin, you’ll get yours. You will know what it’s like to be cooped up in a stifling office on a warm summer’s day.

65? Only you’re lucky.

Surly is my middle name. In the morning anyway. In the morning I am like the seven dwarfs. Sleepy, Dopey, Grumpy…

Surly to bed and surly to rise….

I hope next vacation that Mom tells Dad he’s taking Calvin and she’s going on a ladies only trip to a spa :)

Ah yes, the 80’s. Back when hard working people had a chance of retiring before 75.

Ah, to be 65 again

I retired at 58. Well, the company I worked for closed one day never to be seen again and jobs for those north of 50 in my town and the surrounding region were nil, so I would send the wife off to work every day with a smile on my face and the clubs in the trunk.

And when have you read a novel cover-to-cover, Calvin? Or anything other than a comic book?

As soon as he gets to work, Dad is going to call and sign Calvin up for summer dodge ball camp.

Way to rub it in, Calvin!

With a kid like Calvin… work is a reprieve…

Calvin, you are sure giving dad hard time, he has to work.

Life is short. Don’t squander it.

“So when does school start again?”, replied Dad.

And then you get to be 65 and between the presbyopia and the cataracts you can no longer enjoy a good novel. sigh

What a prick that kid is!! He’s definitely dumpster material!! Reminds me of carla on cheers sitcom. I feel the same about her. A very hateful and sadistic Bitch!

Is when you have a son like Calvin that you re-evaluate Herod .

Taken at face value, Calvin is simply observing the truth. No malice intended.

Monday after a vacation seems like I cut my fingernails short! And Calvin is not it better.
