I guess everything shrinks as it gets older.

Maybe the Moon just seems smaller now that it’s moved to Mars.

I’d be surprised, what with the micrometeorites that bombard it.

It is moving away at about a centimeter a year, so it just looks smaller.

Possibly it’s gaining more mass but still shrinking in girth.

It’s probably the moon lite.

Fairly minor shrinkage related to the coefficient of thermal expansion as the center gets cooler over time.
