As a Brit Lit major, I love today’s strip
Writer’s block… I mean title block sure is tricky.
It’s OK, Snoopy. Titles cannot be copyrighted, so you can use one that has been used before.
The Canine Mutiny may still be available.
Try with ‘It was a dark and stormy night’
A Story of Two Metropolises? Heart of Low Light Levels? I think I’ll leave the other one alone.
Sometimes you have to write the book first before the title will come.
How about “Snoopy and the Chamber of birds” ?
Same with all the good user names.
Great Expectations.
Z, z (zeta)
What are the stories “A Tale of Two Cities”, “Of Human Bondage”, and “Heart of Darkness” about?
That didn’t stop the Avengers super hero movies from using a title from a 1960’s British TV show.
“Life As A Dog”.
“Tales of Snoopy and His Editor”
Woodstock is well read.
A Dog’s Tail
The title can be harder to write than the book. Some authors don’t even get to choose their own title.
“I’m sorry, Sir, but we seem to be fresh out of those titles.”
What about “The Thatcher in the Wry: The Life and Hard Times of a Former Prime Minister.”
Woodstock must be well-read.
“To Kill a Mockingbird”! No, no…
It was a dark and stormy night….
He could always write The Cat Next Door
How about “1984 + 40” (after two Trump terms as President)….
Yeah, but you can’t copyright a title.
Funny how he gets the idea with these titles and he doesn’t see how his famous “It was a dark and stormy night” had been used before. LOL I love these “world-famous writer” comic strips! ♥
