My son bought some ancient model trains off ebay and they came wrapped in 1942 newspapers. I now have original Dick Tracy and Gasoline Alley strips to add to the collection.
I moved so much as a kid I kept nothing from my childhood, while my husband grew up in one house all his kid toys that he wanted to keep are now in our basement.
I have a couple thousand Pluggers clippings in a shoe box. I stopped taking the newspaper so I only get Pluggers on this website daily. i wonder if anyone would buy them ?
I did have a good collection of 1960s comics but my father said that I wasn’t looking after them so he “rescued” them. I later found out that he’d burned them.
I now have 1026 comics in my PC screensavers pictures file, along with feel good pictures, etc. They are set on random view. I have this so that when things are getting me down I can take a deep breath and look at the PC to get a chuckle, smile and know everything will get better. Gives me time to remember there is always someone worse off than Me. Be Safe and Have a Great Day ! Don’t let them get you down !
I scanned several hundred – maybe more than a thousand – old comic strips I had collected over the years. Now I can just turn on a slideshow on my computer and be entertained for hours when I’m supposed to be working!

The only comic strip clipping I have is is the last (daily) “Calvin and Hobbes” which is posted in my own copy of “The Tenth Anniversary Book.”

I got ol’ Phantom comics and some others. Unfortunately most of ‘em aren’t in a very good condition. Darn this hot and humid weather!

Several hundred photo albums with pictures of people you don’t know will become yours also.
