I fell asleep. Iâm way overtired, but I havenât forgotten the Asp. Itâs a work in progress, but I do promise to report on it soon. It needs pictures and I was having trouble transferring them to my cell phone today. Also, I need to assemble some images.
1- DR STACHE: Ground rules BB. If weâre to get any good from these psychiatric sessions youâll need to give up your phone and lie on the couch. BB: Whatever. I ainât discussing my mother though! 2- TRACY: This is Tracy. Iâm 10-49 to Smokeyâs Bar where Iâll soon be 10-51 on Gin Rickeys. 3- PREACHER: Why is a famous, much beloved mega-church, televangelist playing chauffeur to a 3rd world heathen??? PUNJAB: Step on it Sahib. The intoxicating aroma of curry is getting stronger! After we dine you meet my sister. PREACHER: Oh. Yeah!
As I read the comic, I had a hilarious vision of a " Three Stooges" type of situation where Tracy, Sam, Asp, and Punjab, get in each otherâs way while rescuing Annie nd Gypsy and capturing BB Eyes and Co.
This must be one of the few times that the eight-foot tall Indian mystic and dispenser of rough justice has been at loss due to technology. It also occurs to me that the need for the big limousine is not so much to cater to Daddyâs needsâfor all his wealth and sometimes fancy dress (diamond stickpin used to be a trademark accessory) Daddyâs day-to-day needs are usually rather simple and easily metâas it is to accommodate the giant Punjab. Asp is speedingâas he should under the circumstances. If he and friend Punjab get to Muscle (whom we now know as Mr. Wink) first, there will be no need for Tracy to hurry! B-B Eyesâ veiled comment in panel 1 (I refer to the mask-like shadow across his eyes) may turn out to be prophetic. The Asp and Punjab operate not under the law but rather alongside it, with no constraints on their ways and meansâŚ.

Well, it looks like after weeks and weeks of endless pool talk and toothbrush buying itâs time for the usual rushed ending.
By the way, the windows/doors on the car the Asp is driving make absolutely no sense. Artistic liberty I suppose.

I do like Punjabâs line, ââŚconnecting to the spirit realm is difficult at high speeds.â

Iâm just imagining he might connect to the spirit realm in a rather more perminant manner if thereâs a truck coming while he trances out
