We’re fast become functionally illiterate.

Now this one is funny.

It’s almost like using a phone – to make calls.

Somebody needs to invent an an emoji that will replace undisplayable emojis.

There should be some kind of support for those of us who are emoji illiterate.

There’s a reason that’s called a phone. You can actually talk with that!

Communication about communication.

I can imagine Alexander Graham Bell rolling over in his grave.

I still have a “Captain Kirk Style Flip Phone” with NO apps, or emojis, or whatever, and I LOVE IT!!!!

In that last panel, Pam is doing what is known in the theatrical arts as “breaking down the fourth wall”.

The italicized lettering in the middle panel seems to indicate Brewster is yelling across the room.

Owwwwww! My 4th wall! Or in this case, dimension…
