My older sister once said she was going to run away from home. Within seconds, my parents packed her a bag and pushed her out the door. That ploy was never used again. BTW, that was a really long time ago when parents could do that without going to jail.

Did you ever notice there’s no ‘Returns Desk’ in the Maternity Ward?

Raising my 2 Boys “Mom and Dad” would consider if what they “Wanted and Had to Have” was Really needed or feasible. Then if it was We would tell them that if they Really wanted it for them to get with us and figure out how they could “Earn” 1/2 of the cost. Then come to us and We would pay the Balance for them. But No Unnecessary or Just Gotta Have cause Billy Bob’s Parents got him one reasons.We believe in Teaching Children Responsibility,Respect and Understanding of Finances.Prepare them for the Real World.
