I got tired of my son coming in our room when he had nightmares and waking me at 2 am, especially when it seemed to be happening every night for a while. Just disrupted our sleep. So I made him up a bed on the floor. I put a nice comforter down there and fold it up so it is thicker. He has a blanket and a pillow there too. Now when he has a bad dream he just comes in the room and gets in his bed on the floor and everyone is happy.

If my kids tried that, I just squeezed them against my wife.

Only a few times but if it becomes a habit…you’ll not sleep a wink!

Happens with pets too. Kids and pets will push you right out of bed. How can their tiny bodies take up so much space?

Don’t forget the cat corollary. They ooze like water into all the nooks and crannies and you can’t even move!
