Yikes! Is Mordred getting larger?

Wow. I just heard there’s a new, INTERESTED, creative team jumping on this nearly-dead strip soon. I can even feign interest in the rest of this narrative now. March 14 March 14 March 14

It might be Christmas before we get to see how horrible Mordred looks like the way Locher drags things out.

Just because you have tiny arms doesn’t make you a monster. Dr. M must be low in self esteem.

I guess the AMC Pacer got stuck.

Maybe it got decoyed.

One look at Mordud’s face, and Thick’s gun shrinks.

Looks like Mordred just wants a hug…

“I’m huge!”

The arrow on the word balloon in Panel #3 points behind Thick. Has Morbid slipped behind him? Or do the words come from the Sign of Evil as it whispers foul nothings in Thick’s ear?

Thick isn’t pointing his gun at Mordred? Tsk-tsk, Locher!

Trying to follow Mordred’s logic here. “Now that you know I’m a monster, you realize that you’re not leaving here alive” =

1) “Now that you see how ugly my face is, you must realize that I’m the kind of person who is capable of killing. I know you’ve been told I’m a serial killer thirty-seven times since this whole misbegotten story began, but this face REALLY proves it!”

2) “Now that you see how ugly my face is, you understand I can’t let you live and share this information with anybody else. I might have been willing to let you live and go quietly to my execution before, but it would just be too embarrassing to think of you making ‘he’s so ugly that…’ jokes with Sam and Liz.”

3) “Now that you see how ugly my face is, you understand that I am a monster, and as such have the unstoppable strength of one, like Frankenstein’s creature. I was only playing around before, with that ‘strangle you with my chains’ bit, but clearly I can twist your head off with one misshapen hand.”

Thick’s eyes look closed. Is he falling asleep as he has been awake for over 36 hours?

Toy gun alert in panel 3. Either that or the lack of sleep is causing Tracy’s head to swell; it can’t be from Morbid’s compliments.

Bill, Morbid is another one of Mandrake’s evil brothers. He flunked out of Magic 101 but not before he had mastered ventriloquism.

BTW, is that a part of the Midgard Serpent at the bottom of the first panel?

I’d be surprised if Locher takes the time to create a new face. I think we’re going to continue to see Mordred with a mask.

I also wonder if Sam is going to drive right to the granary as if there were no flood. This would be the type of inconsistency Locher is famous for.

In panel 2 Tracy appears to be holding the Sunday Duck.

Did Sam find Spacy and decide that he wants to be the star of this strip now?

In panel three, Tracy looks as bored with the proceedings as I feel about them.

You don’t suppose that at the end of all this he’s going to do an Indiana Jones and just shoot Mordred, do you?

All he needs is two peace signs and the line, “I am not a crook!”

Sam’s headed straight for New Street Corner Lake!

Like that line about holding the ”Sunday Duck !”

If Spacy opened his eyes in panel 3, he’d see he’s not facing Mordred. Maybe he’ll end up shooting Sam.

so when testy shows up to save the day, he’ll frighten froggy to death with his mug.

In about 2 weeks, it will be revealed that Mo will look like Little Orphan Annie in her real swan song. Is it March yet???

Today it would be WTF

I guess we lost Comics Kingdom Viewer because they were getting too many of use logging onto their site.

According to GoComics, there are over 20,000 people who get the Dick Tracy strip on line.

anyway, reading a whole weeks worth of Tracy was too painful and naseauating to take in all at one time.

Sam better be ready to do a ‘POWER APPROACH’ or he isnt getting anywhere near Tracy. Hope he has a scuba suit handy since the granary has floated off somewhere and relocated to the middle of nowhere. Maybe hell just gun the engine, crash through the wall, narrowly miss Tracy and crash into Mordreds chest. Hopefully theyll show his face first. Wait, maybe Samll crash into his face! One can only hope.

The rain off the roof is looking like an icicle

That splash of water in Panel #2 looks like a hand. It’s about as well-drawn as any hand and finger Locher has done. Maybe it’s the hand that usually floats alongside Thick’s neck, like a pirate’s parrot. Or–given its location and direction–maybe it’s God Herself, pointing out where this strip is going.

I dont think Tracy cares anymore.

Storm of the century? Testicle Chin can drive in it without much trouble. Or is he lost and unaware of that?

Which zipper did Mordred actually open?

Dick Locher looked in the mirror to draw panel 3 today.

That’s it ! Reflecting he’s just darned tired of Dick Tracy.
