She’ll figure it out when she finds a couple of cupcakes missing.

My godson, when little, pulled his big stuffed toy out from the side of the stove, got up on it and got a cupcake, got down, pushed the toy back and…

My wife was upstairs many years ago and heard a “Clink” like glass hitting glass! She immediately ran down the stairs to find where my son had pushed a chair over to the counter top where he climbed up and then reached up on top of the refrigerator where the cookie jar was. That was the clink noise! There is was sitting munching a cookie like “What’s wrong mom?” Sigh.

Earl Opal can count ! But why make them if not to eat them ;-)

There is nothing like blackmail from your grandpa. Why does Nelson want to hang out there so much? A little bit of Earl goes a long way.

Some role model you are, Earl!

When the stomach calls integrity takes a back seat.

Teaching the kid blackmail………. Real good Earl – Reeeeeeeally good.

The kids always know!

Opal thinks hiding them, they will be safe….kids and Earl sniff them out….

I am certain they were baked for the enjoyment of all.

I’m glad I’m a grandfather and not a grandmother. The expectations are lower….and I can have more fun!

You may want to put that another way, Earl. Say you are diverting attention from him.

After you make the pact, don’t forget to wipe the kids face…and yours.

And then the next cupcakes will be made with salt just for you two.

Cupcakes are good, but cookies (or pie) are better and “with ice cream” is best.

Earl loves eggs, as long as they are in a cupcake.

Eat them with knife and fork. (I learned that on Seinfeld, which had no purpose whatsoever till this very day.)
