Our phone number is one number different than a local car dealership – theirs has a 1 where ours is 4, so if someone misses the 1 they call us. The best we’ve been asked if we could jump the caller.
One evening, when my wife and I were watching TV, the phone rang and I answered and the sexy female voice on the other end said " whatcha doin?" I said “nothin” she replied “wanna come over with pizza?” I said “ok where do you live?” and she said “Chuck?” I said “no I’m Joe!” She screamed “Aaarrrggghhh!” My wife said who was that ?"and I just said “wrong number.” ;o}
I got a message from Walmart pickup service in a town 100 miles east of us for Mrs. “NotMe”. She had failed to pick up her order and they wanted her to call back. That was an interesting return call.
Back before Caller ID I got a call from a woman who said “Me and your husband are having an affair. Are you going to give him to me or do I have to fight you?”
Hubby wouldn’t give the time of day to somebody who said “Me and your husband”, so I told her she could have him, “but you have to take one of the kids. I’ll decide which one. Be at the mailbox in an hour.”
