Good thing the (insert description here) who quit reading this strip yesterday is not reading it today!

He’s better qualified than most of our politicians.

Hammy definitely won’t be worse than some of the chair warmers in the white house and probably better would better

He’s better than Joe Biden.

I read the comics for a laugh, not a political comment. There are specific types of cartoons for that. Are they really running out of that many topics?

I’d much rather have Hammy than the idiot we have! Even though he is over qualified.

Hammy is not over-qualified he is under. You have to be 35 years old to run for President in these United States. Over the hedge started in 1995………….. Sorry Hammy try another sport ;-)

I accept we can’t have the best, but next election maybe we shouldn’t scrape so close to the bottom of the barrel as the last time

RJ does make a very good point.

It would seem the American public no longer wants an efficient President; they want an entertaining one. So Hammy qualifies. Too bad he’s a cartoon character and can’t run for office. It would be fascinating to see if he actually got elected. :D

I think if we had the money (after all it is those with the most $$$ resources that take the office) we could even get Hammy on the ballot. It would be interesting to see just what the percentage of vote he takes.Many votes already go to “Bugs Bunny”, Mickey Mouse" or so on.Let’s just make it official for one the illustrated members, similar to “Roger Rabbit”

I would vote for Hammie any day over the current occupant.
