I hope he isn’t burying the clear plastic binder; they are reusable.

I always assumed he was digging to China or something in the last panel. It didn’t occur to me he was burying the report until I saw Be This Guy’s comment.

You are doing a lot of work to hide your bad work. Why not take a cue from Suzy and (attempt) to do what you were asked to do in the first place?

As always he’s having to put greater energy in hiding the report than actually doing the report….

By the time he’s 8, he will have run out of yard to bury his take home teacher reports.

Clear plastic binders just don’t provide the oomph that they used to,

Calvin’s going to need a bigger shovel for that report.

I had TWO students who were TRYING to impress me by placing their reports in a report’s binder…. but when I opened their binder…. the reports fell out to the ground! They couldn’t even bother to punch the holes and properly insert the paper pages….

What is the world coming to? No respect for the Batman symbol?

The presentations section of Staples will never look the same to me.

The TDS is so strong that we can’t even enjoy the simple humor of a C&H strip any more without the Trump haters dragging him into it

Waterson correctly shows Calvin with a shovel that’s much too big for him. But when I  use a shovel, I spend almost all my time working it into the ground and only a little bit digging out the results. Maybe I’ve just never lived where you could shove a shovel into the ground without jumping on it?

Calvin is a professional level doofus!

Not mention it’s probably not bio-degradable.

All prospective ideas are fit for burial in this corporate era.
