When you’ve regained consciousness and done hanging up those decorations outside, there’s a guy 28 years from now, who’s stuck on a roof with a cat that could really use your folk’s ladder.
A “guy” who I might add, will make a pass your sister one day. And who, I’ll wager, will make a pass at your future, hot firefighter wife, if she shows up to rescue him before You do. ;)
That’s why the company gave us padlocks with name tags attached, so as when we secured a piece of machinery they knew who to look for and ask why…Still have a couple somewhere….
Normally I think that Brad deserves everything bad that happens to him,since he is usually such a jerk, but in this case I’ll have to take his side. So is Luann being stupid, hard of hearing, or just plain ornery (in a very dangerous way)?

When I was working I had to take a day long class about locking down and tagging machinery to avoid problems like this, and worse.

Never, ever trust someone else to turn off or leave off the breaker unless you have a tester. Do it yourself and tape it off until you are done.
