My usual rant about seeing eye dog, rescue dog, police dog. So no, I wouldn’t say “conformist”. I would say of great benefit to individuals and society who depend on them.
Our dog once got into the trash, my wife put him out the back door so she could clean up. The thing is, she locked the door. I asked her, what, you think the dog’s going to try to turn the knob and give up? Better check that the front door is locked too, just in case.
She gave me a choice of either cleaning up the mess or leaving. (You want to clean this mess up!?)
I know when I’ve overstayed my welcome. (Ok, I’ll check the front door.)
