I think Petey has the right idea…

My Petey would never wear an argyle sweater…cashmere, maybe.

Argyle refers to the pattern on the sweater. Cashmere would refer to the material it’s made from. Ergo, you could have a cashmere sweater, knitted in an argyle pattern.

Never tried to put a sweater on our Pepper. We did put one on Sheba when she was smaller, because her fur is thinner, and she loves to go out on the back porch (but no further!). She tolerated it for about an hour.. LOL!

We had a cat that needed to take a break from licking the fur off his back. We put a sweater on him. The next morning, we found it in the litter box. After that we had to resort to the “Collar of Shame”.

Don’t worry Petey! They’re all jealous!!!

It takes a Lot of strength & courage to continue wearing that Argyle sweater after the Mean girls have targeted you for wearing it when everyone Knows that Argyle Sweater day is Thursday.

Never got a sweater to last more than 30 seconds…we actually timed it.

So now we know…orange-with-stripes is named “Petey”. I had assumed he was Peekaboo’s former boyfriend, Ringo.
