The reason most mammals are colorblind is because they evolved from nocturnal ancestors. It’s believed the reason monkeys and apes re-evolved color vision is so that they can tell when fruit is fresh.

Conversely, most birds and reptiles have great color vision, hence why they come in so many bright colors mammals don’t. In fact, they can see colors we humans can’t.

Fruit Loops are all the same flavor, just different colors.

Technically, a magic spell could sort things by colors, even if the user is colorblind. It is magic after all.
