There was a news anchor in Los Angeles who didn’t want to have one. He died of colon cancer.

And yet, it’s beautiful days like this that would probably be used in a TV commercial urging you to get one.

Good laugh today!….but seriously, always try to eat healthy and seek out good anti-cancer herbs and compounds.

Yes, the view of the lake is beautiful, but that’s one hell of a mental leap to having a tiny video camera stuck up his rectum!

You’d like to have more beautiful days? Then suck it up and have a colonoscopy.

The scenery will be even more beautiful the day after the colonoscopy. And if you schedule it for February rather than August, you probably won’t miss much in the way of nice weather.

I had one when I was 45. Clean. I have taken those simple tests ever since. Clean. Getting another this upcoming Leap Year Day. Expect to be clean.

Colonoscopies are easy, quick, and painless. As at least one other commenter already posted, it’s the prep that’s the bad part. Take everything you use to entertain and amuse yourself into the toilet. You’ll be in, and out, and sitting there, for a good while.

Then don’t. The worry, aggravation and money you spare yourself may lead to better health and beautiful days to enjoy.

Better that than die from colo-rectal cancer. The procedure is easy, they knock you out now, the preparation is hard.

Not funny, Sir. Colon cancer is the second leading cause of preventable death in the USA. That’s funny to you? My father died of colon cancer. My MIL has had it twice. Colon cancer is t funny. How about a retraction or apology?

I so wish that these dumb jokes about colonoscopies would stop. Yeah the prep is a drag but overall it’s no big deal, and it saves lives. Many lives. Like my dad’s, and probably mine too. Making jokes about what a miserable ordeal it is, just distorts it and discourages people from getting them.
