P3 on Saturday showed Alexa on the right side, just inside the 3 point arc. And she “kicks” it out to a player we’ll never hear from again? And Alexa’s pass is to a teammate inside the arc, which is drawn weirdly next to the sideline. And Coach Drool’s wife does something he cannot do….beat a Thorp coached team.
If she actually got it ON the baseline, wouldn’t she be out of bounds, or at least behind the basket? And THAT’s her shot? From P1 to P2 it looks like Alexa deflated the ball as well as the fast break Saturday.
I’m trying to figure out the physics of this steal. The ball was passed from down and the left of the players in P2. The VT girl is stealing the ball despite the fact that it is past her. The only possibility is that the random Milford girl had the ball bounce off her to the VT player. So it ain’t Alexa’s fault in that case!

P1: Hard to shoot with only 2/3 of a basketball.

P1 – Way to get three…things on the ball Alexa to make sure you’ve got the best grip possible.
P2 – And she blows the game, like I thought she would. She can’t be the hero this early in the story.
P3 – Not sure how he knows what is and isn’t her shot unless he’s spying on the girls’ practices.
And speaking of spying, no spying is necessary to read today’s issue of Mopped Up Thorp:

P1, Now wait a minute, Saturday Alexa was taking a pass at the top of the key and now she’s breastfeeding the basketball on the baseline?
P2, That’s more like it. Nice shine on that floor Mop Man.
P3, And later this week Alexa gets some aggression lessons from Chris Schuring.

In all reality , how did Alexa pass the ball to Cressa , did she flip the ball backwards over her head , inquiring minds want to know .

She’s scared to shoot, even though she’s probably the biggest kid out there and is 2 ft away from the hoop. No wonder this team sucks….

Of well, time to look forward to base/softball.

You think she would be able to figure out the vector angle on that pass.

I guess it’s Alexis fault for passing up the shot and kicking it out to her lame-o teammate in that case
Irish53 about 5 years ago
Maybe she really does need to hear it like “….Alexa!…..shoot the ball….”

If a basketball as big as that one in panel one was attacking me like that I’d get rid of it too!
