    ā€œReturn of the Pink Pantherā€ 1975ā€¦

CLOUSEAU: There was some question as to whether the beggar or his minkey was breaking the law.

    DREYFUS: Minkey?

    CLOUSEAU: What?

    DREYFUS: You said minkey.

Monkeys are always active. Iā€™m sure monkeys would be an active ingredient.

The monkeys are just included to help cover up the taste of the active ingredient. Badgersā€™ noses are dreadfully bitter.

FUN FACT. The FDA allows up to .05% monkey bits in all foods and drugs.

When my mother got tired of being asked ā€œwhatā€™s for dinner?ā€ sheā€™d sometimes say ā€œmonkey tailsā€. Sometimes it was kangaroo tails. I eventually caught on (I was REALLY little), but the first time it really surprised me ā€™cuz I used to go grocery shopping with her and never say monkeys in the cart. Or the store, for that matter.
