Whatta fogey. Why aren’t you streaming what you want to see instead of waiting around for some TV station to schedule something? (Though wanting to see Jeopardy, does tend to explain why it hasn’t occurred to them.)
I used to watch Jeopardy. I stopped because being broadcast at 7:00 PM every time there was a major news story it would get preempted. I’m not complaining about important news preempting Jeopardy, but that they would not rebroadcast the episode later. Put a notice up that it will be shown at say 2:00 AM so I could set the DVR for it. The last straw was when it was the final episode in a tournament series that got preempted. I had enough.
Jeopardy is an independently syndicated show and is used by the station as buffer filler between the news and the network’s evening lineup. If important events change the evening’s lineup, like Thursday Night Football, It is shifted up to between 11:30 p.m. and 2:a.m, after Seinfeld.
Jeopardy doesn’t stream the current show, as far as I could ever find. TiVo is included in my condo fees. I DVR Jeopardy every day (and freak out when it is pre-empted). The actual answer/question part runs about 12 minutes. The rest is chatter and commercials. So with the DVR, I can skip past all that. In fact, I DVR almost every show that has ads so I can skip them. Saves a lot of time.

If you watch the news, you’ll be more than “a little down”. You might even get flat-out depressed!

I wouldn’t say she’s looking a little down. I think it appears she’s looking up. Next she’ll ask Earl to repair that crack in the ceiling.

There a lot of us “old fogeys” around and you should watch Jeopardy sometime, it might make you a little smarter.
